How to Choose Between Small, Medium and Large Budget VPS Plans

Updated · Autdo Cloud

Choose a Budget VPS size from measured memory, CPU and disk needs, with enough headroom for updates and traffic spikes. Buying extra virtual cores alone will not fix an application that runs out of RAM or waits on a slow dependency.

Current Budget sizes

As checked on October 26, 2026, Autdo's Budget plans are:

  • B-S: 1 shared vCPU, 1 GiB RAM, 30 GiB disk, USD 1.50/month.
  • B-M: 2 shared vCPU, 3 GiB RAM, 60 GiB disk, USD 4.50/month.
  • B-L: 4 shared vCPU, 6 GiB RAM, 120 GiB disk, USD 9.00/month.

These are dated catalog facts. The current catalog and order summary control pricing, stock and specifications. All three use NAT IPv4 and shared resources; larger size does not imply a dedicated public address.

Decide by the limiting resource

For a small outbound worker or static site, start by assessing B-S. If an application and database compete for memory, consider a larger memory budget. If you need more disk because of growing uploads or logs, estimate growth and backup space rather than looking only at today's usage.

Measure peak resident memory, CPU time, request latency and storage. Leave room for the operating system and maintenance. Do not assume a particular upgrade path or zero-downtime resize unless confirmed by the service interface.

Check networking separately

The current Budget limit is up to 100 Mbps per instance on a shared uplink with unmetered transfer. Paying for a larger Budget size does not automatically remove that cap or provide standard public web ports.
